Our Sunday morning service is a great place to start

Words can’t explain the impact this church has had on my life. God has used this family of believers to bring about change I never thought possible.

What to Expect on Sundays

Here's what a typical Sunday morning looks like in 5 steps.

Arrive

Our service begins at 10:00 AM and ends by 12:00 PM. We meet in the Spring Hill High School library, located at 1 Raider Ln, Columbia, TN. There will be signs directing you to the service as you pull into the parking lot. As you walk in, you will be greeted by a team of people who are happy to serve you and answer any questions you may have.

Have Kids?

Our Sunday children’s ministry is called Hope Kids and offers care for children ranging from newborn through age 5. If you would like your children to participate in Hope Kids, you will see a check-in area as you enter the building staffed with folks who are ready to help and answer any questions you may have.

Singing

Singing together is one of our favorite parts of Sunday morning. There is nothing like joining our voices with our church family to sing about the gospel of Jesus Christ! Our music is a mixture of classic hymns and contemporary Christian worship songs, all of which reflect deep truths of our Treasure, Jesus Christ, and His heart for us, but also our deep passion for Him as well. During our time of singing, we may also read Scripture, celebrate baptisms, enjoy the Lord’s Supper, or read an historic confession of faith together.

Bible Teaching

God’s Word is central to our time together. We typically preach through one book of the Bible at a time, with occasional breaks for topical series. Our sermons, which generally last between 35-40 minutes, are centered on Christ with an emphasis also on how a passage speaks directly to our lives today.

Ministry

While we plan our Sunday gatherings around and according to God’s Word, we often experience unplanned moments where the Lord desires to minister care and encouragement for His people. It could be in the form of an encouraging word during worship, or a time of prayer for specific needs people might have that morning. We earnestly desire that God would be glorified as He cares for those at Hope Community in these times of ministry.

Get Connected

You’ll find that our church family really enjoys hanging out together after the service! People are slow to leave the building and love to visit and fellowship after church. You’re welcome to stay as long as you’d like, but make sure to pick up your gift as a thank you for visiting us. Our pastors are also available before or after the service and would love to meet, speak with, or pray for you.
